Funny enough though, my 1 Lowepro bag I do have has TERRIBLE straps. It was the gen 1 photosport 200 aw (bright orange). Great bag that could hold up to awful abuse, but those straps... I think the camera bag market is some of the most overhyped/priced products ever when all you really need is something to carry your camera.

Miss a lot of shots that require a zoom lens or happen quickly in low light, I'd imagine. Ugly looking bag (subjective of course), poor padding on the inside and poor access to equipment not to mention it's overpriced. We like that the laptop is suspended in the back, protecting it from unexpected drops of the bag. At the bottom of each side pocket, there’s a drain hole. Now, a drain hole is a nice feature, but we’re surprised that there’s no eyelet or additional reinforcement here.

I like both a lot, but sometimes I want something super light weight. I took the insert out of my old backpack and put it into the PD 20 v2. The origami folders hold it in place on both sides and bottom. My camera and three lenses fit tightly and are deeper into the bag than the standard layout allows. I just don't like the way the metal touches my shirt. It's nice for long treks where the metal continually rubbing against me gets obnoxious.
